Program processing

The required preliminary work must be done before the material is suitable for production. Not all of the steps need necessarily be run through, but ParOVisie does offer all of the options available. Shooting new footage

Some more footage might need to be shot in the event there should be a shortage of film material. ParOVisie can also put together a commercial for you.

Editing

It is possible when compiling program material that this may consist of images recorded in old formats, such as VHS, Super 8 and some already on DVD. Before starting production on the program, ParOVisie will first convert all of these images to the desired digital format. The images are reworked when necessary during the editing process and the correct sequence is determined with regards to content. ParOVisie sees to it that it becomes one cohesive flowing entity. Music and commentary can be edited in simultaneously; titles can come into view and effects used when needed to streamline the product in its entirety.

Authors

The next step involved in the creation of either a DVD or BLUE-RAY is the authoring. The process of digitalisation follows once the images and sound have been loaded on the hard disk. The material is also converted to the desired digital format. The graphic menu screens are put into operation during the authoring process, so that everything functions just as envisioned from the start. The functions are programmed during authoring and these are implemented in the graphics they were designed for.

Graphic design

The target group often decides how a DVD is laid out. The consumer market often requires a variety of extra options in a DVD, such as a sub-title and language button, chapters and additional options like slide shows, trailers, or 'deleted scenes'.
More often that not, the business to business market requires one to convey a clear message. The overall picture must be appealing and yet not be overdone with too many add-ons, as these only tend to distract one's attention from the main issue. Ultimately, it's all up to you and what it is you want to achieve. The sky is the limit at ParOVisie.
Once the intention of the DVD becomes clear, a menu structure is created and the graphic artist sees to it that a picture board is put together.
